Since joining McKinsey in 2007, Jonathan has worked with organisations across banking, insurance, consumer retail, transport & logistics, asset management, and telecommunications on a broad range of topics including strategy, digital, technology, analytics, productivity, organisation, and culture. He has worked closely with his clients to design and deliver large scale transformation, with a particular focus on translating strategy to practical execution and using technology to accelerate and enhance opportunities.

Much of his work has centered on the importance of digital, technology and analytics in delivering leading customer experience and financial returns. He leads McKinsey’s Digital & Analytics team in Australia & New Zealand—McKinsey’s team of engineers, developers, designers, data scientists, data engineers, strategy consultants and product owners–working with clients to build new businesses and drive performance through data & analytics, enabled by technology. He also leads McKinsey’s Financial Services Practice in Australia & New Zealand, working with banks, insurers, and asset managers in Asia, Australia, and North America on how to develop and execute winning strategies in a challenging regulatory and macro-economic environment.

Jonathan is the partner lead of McKinsey’s Alumni program in Australia and New Zealand.
