Brian Ledbetter is a senior partner in McKinsey’s London office and leads our Financial Services Practice in the United Kingdom. He is also a leader in our Business Technology Practice.

Brian’s work focuses on advising financial services clients on issues in operations and technology and business transformation. His recent projects include developing a medium-term operations and IT transformation plan for a leading UK retail bank, developing the end-to-end transformation programme for a global investment bank, and supporting a pan-Asian wholesale and retail bank with an integrated IT and operations strategy.

Other projects have included advising a mortgage lender on transforming its operations to prepare for short-term growth, helping a financial institution to select technologies and partners and launch consolidated call centre services at several European sites and assisting a major UK bank with a programme to transform branch sales and operations using lean and Six Sigma principles.

Before joining McKinsey, Brian was European product manager at a US software company. He holds a degree in architecture from Yale University.
