Arthur is the managing partner of McKinsey’s Hong Kong office. He focuses on driving holistic, transformational, and sustainable change at companies—especially in Hong Kong and Mainland China—and has extensive experience operating in Asia as a whole. Over the years, Arthur has led many transformation efforts at multinational financial institutions, local conglomerates, and public organizations. The topics Arthur advises on include strategy, digital, innovation, organization and culture change, capability building, mergers and acquisitions, and others, and he is the colead for McKinsey’s work in fintech in the region.

Arthur holds a BA in economics from the University of Cambridge, and he is a past president of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hong Kong. Arthur is passionate about Hong Kong and is a member of the Vision 2047 Foundation, a group with diverse views committed to the future of Hong Kong. He has also supported the Financial Services Development Council over the years, including drafting the inaugural paper for the council—strengthening Hong Kong as an international financial center.

Arthur is active in local youth development. He is a co-founder of Project Melo, a not-for-profit platform dedicated to empowering youth in Hong Kong by bridging them meaningfully with leaders in business and society. Arthur also sits on the Board of Junior Achievement Hong Kong, is a frequent speaker on youth and business technology topics, and advises various start-up companies.
