In addition to his client work, he serves as managing partner for the Bengaluru office.

Key examples of Ankit’s recent impact include a 2-year cost transformation for a bellwether Indian IT-services company, a rebranding effort for one of India's largest auto-ancillary companies, and a commercial transformation program for India's leading B2B telecommunications company. He has also led the end-to-end transformation for a prominent consumer-durables company.

Ankit’s focus on consumer-insights led sales transformations has created a significant pull for him as a marketing and sales (M&S) practitioner in various sectors, including the consumer space, allowing him to create opportunities as a client entrepreneur. He has built new capabilities for the M&S Practice and convenes the M&S Practice in India and forums with industry practitioners.

Ankit has authored a paper on the shopping behavior of Indian consumers, focusing on consumer durables and auto industries. Prior to joining McKinsey, Ankit worked with a multinational investment bank and financial-services company.
