Anand leads Build by McKinsey, the firm’s technology delivery practice, which is a global community of software engineers, architects, designers, and product owners who help our clients turn game-changing opportunities into reality. Previously, Anand led McKinsey Digital in Asia, helping organizations across industries unlock the full potential of digital, analytics, and data, as well as technology platforms and digital ecosystems.

Anand works with senior leadership teams and boards to help develop targeted digital strategies, prioritize and mobilize investments and resources to execute on strategy, drive the culture transformation required for the digital era, and develop capabilities within organizations to successfully sustain transformations over time. He serves organizations across industries, including consumer, energy, hospitality, advanced industries, and financial services.

A passionate technologist, he publishes frequently on digital transformation and core technology topics. He is a coauthor of Digital @ Scale: The Playbook You Need to Transform Your Company (Wiley, June 2017), a playbook for senior leaders looking to achieve the full-scale benefits of digital.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Anand spent 19 years at a global management consulting and professional-services company, most recently as the chief strategy officer for its digital branch.

In addition to his work with McKinsey, Anand serves as a trustee and member of the board of directors of Case Western Reserve University.
