Meet some of our colleagues

“One of the main reasons I applied was hearing stories of women and moms working as consultants at an event I attended. Their passion for the firm and the projects they were doing, as well as their stories about work-life balance, flexible working solutions and support they receive from their colleagues were an inspiration for me. I can say that at McKinsey, I can truly experiment with diverse projects and industries—something I wasn’t able to do before—and drive change at higher speeds than I was able to before.”

Madalina, associate, Bucharest

“I have always been passionate about working in a fast-changing environment. McKinsey enables me to design my personal career journey by combining interests and expertise. I support a wide range of clients as they transform business operations, optimize supply chains, and implement complex IT systems. Together with my colleagues, I help shape the future of leading companies in Europe.”

Bertram, senior associate, Berlin

“I joined McKinsey after working for several years in the financial services industry. I learned from day one that it’s a place to thrive and to develop. Every day, I am confronted with challenging, but exciting client questions to solve, pushing my skills and thinking by integrating expertise from a diverse set of backgrounds. For me, this is what McKinsey is all about: getting support for whatever you are passionate about and learning from leading industry experts.”

Sarina, engagement manager, Frankfurt

“I decided to join McKinsey after getting to know some of the exceptional people who make up the firm: an awesome combination of drive to change things for the better, a bias toward action and getting things done, and really unique personalities.”

Eike, engagement manager, Berlin
