Survey: Colombian consumer sentiment during the coronavirus crisis

Colombians remain uncertain about the prospect of a recovery, as many continue to experience the financial impact of COVID-19.

In Colombia, the prevailing sentiment is uncertainty about the economy. Many Colombians are experiencing a decline in income and savings and are cutting back on their spending across almost all categories. Consumers are also adopting new digital and low-touch activities, such as online streaming and video chat. Almost all Colombians believe COVID-19’s impact on their routines and finances will last for more than two months.
