Adolf is a partner based in our Johannesburg office. He leads our Operations Practice in Africa and coleads our provider development and transformation efforts in the Healthcare Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
He has supported clients across more than eight countries across EMEA on a broad range of operations topics and enterprise-wide transformations.
Examples of Adolf’s recent client work include the following:
- leading the end-to-end enterprise-wide operations transformation program for mining houses in Africa
- leading operations improvement, external spending optimization, and capital productivity programs across a broad range of clients including a global healthcare provider system in Africa and Europe, a leading provider system in the Middle East, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer, also in Africa and Europe, and a global consumer-goods manufacturer in Africa, Europe, and the Americas
Prior to joining McKinsey, Adolf was a practicing medical doctor in South Africa. When not working, he tends to his garden with his daughters or spends time on the golf course.
