Jamie is a leader in M&A and focuses extensively on complex spin-offs, divestiture programs, integrations, and IPOs across industries. He has supported over 150 transactions worldwide and worked extensively with clients in North America and Europe.

By bringing together a strategy-led approach to transactions with deep technical expertise in separations and public-company readiness, Jamie helps executives maximize enterprise value at every stage of the corporate lifecycle.

Examples of his recently client work include the following:

  • leading the spin-off program for a global pharmaceutical and medical-devices company
  • helping an insurer scope and plan the divestiture of a large US business unit
  • evaluating the portfolio of a medical-device company to identify potential divestiture targets and areas to pursue acquisitions
  • advising a technology services provider on their Nasdaq IPO preparation
  • establishing a central divestiture-management office to lead more than a dozen sequential divestitures over a two-year period for a pharmaceutical company
  • conducting a separation feasibility assessment for an OEM seeking to exit a key business line
  • developing the equity story for a US-based healthcare company preparing for a public listing on the NYSE

Jamie is also passionate about building scalable solutions that drive outsize impact for clients. He helped design, build, and launch solutions that have helped dozens of clients deliver integration and separation programs since launch in 2021.

Before joining McKinsey, Jamie was a director in KPMG’s M&A team in New York, where he emigrated in 2013. He started his career as an accountant at PwC in Sydney, Australia, and is a qualified CPA in New York, as well as a chartered accountant, project management professional, and CFA.
