Bryan is a partner in McKinsey’s Washington, DC, office and a leader of the firm’s work in talent. He is a leading researcher on the future of work, including the evolution of remote work, the implications of AI for people and organizations, and the agentification of the HR function. He advises leaders, from the C-suite to HR, at many of the world’s largest and most talent-intensive employers. Bryan also serves a wide range of public and social sector organizations, including those focused on education and workforce development.
As the co-host of the podcast McKinsey Talks Talent, and co-author of the book Power to the Middle: Why Managers Hold the Keys to the Future of Work, Bryan is at the forefront of shaping the conversation on modern talent strategy.
Outside of his work at McKinsey, Bryan is committed to connecting people with opportunities and bringing professional talent to the social sector. He serves on the boards of Homeboy Industries, the Taproot Foundation, and AlliedUP. He holds a JD, magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and a BA in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
