Virginie helps client leaders design and implement operational transformations in qualified service environments, especially insurance (e.g. commercial broker business) and pharma (e.g. R&D). With her strong focus on change and capability building, she works hand in hand with middle and top client leadership to build the foundations of efficient management systems for transformation, continuous improvement and long-lasting impact.
Her recent work includes:
- piloting and rolling-out a lean management transformation in five business units, with average 30% of freed-up capacity, of which 50% reinvested into business development
- designing and piloting a new operational transformation approach based on Blue Sky Thinking in a short time-frame in the corporate risk environment, leading to an enhanced value proposition for all stakeholders, transformed customer experience and tripled value creation versus traditional approaches
- designing and piloting the operational transformation of three business units in parallel (>100 FTEs) in pharma R&D, with a top-down target of 30-50% freed-up capacity to reinvest into more research and innovation
Before joining McKinsey, Virginie was a project leader with the State Reform Agency, attached to the French Ministry of Finances and the Prime Minister’s Office. Virginie helped top civil servants review their policies, transform their organization and overcome major change management and operational challenges, in a context of drastic cost-cutting. She was also lecturer in public management at the Grande Ecole Sciences-Po Paris. She began her career as senior consultant at Capgemini Consulting France.
