Tim joined McKinsey in 2014 and is a partner in the Buenos Aires office. He leads the Chemicals and Agriculture Practices and transformation people function in Latin America. He delivers successful transformations in service and manufacturing contexts and leads teams to develop and execute turnaround plans.
With over 15 years in agribusiness, extractive industries, and telecommunications, he has significant experience in emerging markets and working with mid-cap and portfolio companies, including while working with investors and family offices.
Some of his recent work includes the following:
- diagnosing, designing, and leading the implementation of operational, digital, and operating model transformations for regional and global agribusiness companies
- leading enterprise-wide transformations for top basic materials and telecommunications companies, driving operational performance and organizational change
- advising private equity investors on value creation and transformation strategies across regional portfolio companies, while coaching executive teams to accelerate performance improvements
- designing and implementing transformation offices to strengthen performance management and ensure the sustained execution of transformation initiatives across complex organizations
- taking on interim executive roles as chief transformation officer (CTO) to lead complex turnarounds, stabilize operations, and accelerate improvements in performance and profitability
