Takamichi is a core leader in the McKinsey Transformation Practice, with extensive experience driving large-scale, tech-enabled transformations across the infrastructure, telecommunications, industrial, and resources sectors. He specializes in orchestrating holistic, global-scale transformation programs that integrate advanced analytics, AI, and capability building to help organizations achieve sustainable, long-term performance improvement. In this work, he has supported many clients in adopting AI and developing AI solutions to unlock new impact.

He has led numerous enterprise-wide performance transformations and AI-driven growth initiatives, overseeing multiyear programs involving hundreds of stakeholders. Through this work, he has also gained extensive experience supporting Japanese companies in establishing an international presence, as well as leading multiple PMI and turnaround efforts.
