Peter is a London-based partner who coleads McKinsey’s sustainable investing work. He supports purpose-led investors in pursuing bold strategies to deliver large-scale, societally impactful infrastructure.

He specializes in the energy transition, helping design, deploy, and scale investments for some of the world’s largest energy transition infrastructure, buyout, and growth funds. He also leads McKinsey’s carbon capture and storage work in Europe.

Peter has supported major transnational governmental organizations on changing societal trends, including smart cities, green job creation, and climate adaptation and resilience.

Peter is passionate about social mobility, believing that it makes economies more prosperous, companies more competitive, and, ultimately, employees happier. He coleads McKinsey’s socioeconomic diversity affinity group, Prism, and leads McKinsey’s external research and client work on social mobility.

Peter is an engineer by background and holds a Doctor of Engineering in the field of smart cities.
