Omar is a partner based in McKinsey’s Casablanca office. He coleads our Transformation Practice—the firm’s functional business unit specialized in financial and operational transformations—across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Omar is also active in developing Leap by McKinsey and setting and scaling new business builds for large private sector clients across EMEA.
Throughout his career, Omar has developed in-depth expertise in investments and commercial excellence across the consumer, mining, and chemical sectors. He is primarily focused on serving conglomerates, financial sponsors, and private sector clients across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey (MENAT).
Prior to joining McKinsey in 2019, Omar worked for Goldman Sachs and a private equity fund for approximately 11 years on a wide range of due diligence and investment projects.
