Nina’s areas of expertise include growth strategy, digital business building, commercial topics, partnership strategies, and mergers, acquisitions and divestments, with a focus on aviation, travel, and technology. She helps shape McKinsey’s Travel, Logistics & Infrastructure Practice’s knowledge and innovation agenda and its tools and capabilities. She has worked with organizations in Western Europe, the United States, Canada, and China.

Examples of Nina’s recent client work include the following:

  • developing the sales and distribution model of a European travel company, leading to a new set of commercial agreements and partnerships, a revenue uplift of 15 percent in direct channels, and a significant decrease in distribution cost
  • leading a diagnostic for a major airline to identify revenue and cost opportunities in network, sales, and all commercial functions, including pricing and revenue management, leading to a significant profit and opportunity of 10 percent in earnings before interest and taxes
  • supporting a technology and software company in developing a growth strategy to build on existing system-integration services, platform products, and capabilities
