About Namrata

In the initial years of her career, Namrata served a diverse range of Indian and global technology service providers on strategy and operations, with a focus on business transformation. In the recent past, however, she has focused on the impact of digital and analytics on providers and enterprises through McKinsey Digital. She has also coauthored the 2015 NASSCOM-McKinsey report, Perspective 2025: Shaping the Digital Revolution.

In her current role, Namrata advises private-sector enterprises and family-owned businesses in several sectors, including metals and mining, banking, and consumer on technology, digital, and analytics. She also counsels public-sector clients on strategy and economic development.

Diversity and inclusion is a key area of interest for Namrata, who is an integral part of the firm's All-In initiative. She drives a sponsorship program for women in India which aims to develop a pipeline of senior women leaders within the firm. In 2018, she received The Telegraph She Award in the corporate category.

Namrata speaks frequently at key industry forums, including CII, FICCI, the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Bangladesh Brand Forum.

Prior to joining McKinsey, she worked as a software engineer with Infosys Technologies.
