Marie-Renée is a leader of McKinsey’s work in public health, healthcare, and health emergency preparedness within our Social Sector, Healthcare, & Public Sector Entities Practice. With more than 15 years’ experience in the space, Marie-Renée works to reimagine global public health systems. In addition to being a partner at McKinsey, Marie-Renée is also a practicing emergency physician.
Marie-Renée has extensive expertise in global public health, health system strategies, healthcare innovations and AI, as well as health emergency preparedness and response. She has served clients across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

- helping a global disease partnership to improve its cost-effectiveness and navigate budget shifts while improving program quality for millions of people around the globe
- supporting the development of a health emergency preparedness and response strategy for an international NGO, developing a leading framework to inform activities across all continents
- co-creating healthcare strategies for top Canadian healthcare players, reaching millions of Canadians
- designing blueprints for the deployment of innovative healthcare technology tools, including a pandemic decision-support simulator and gen AI grant application tool for low- and middle-income countries
