Marc Frederick

Advises consumer packaged goods and retail companies on how to accelerate sustainable and profitable growth; leads McKinsey’s revenue growth management work across developing markets

Marc is a partner based in the Johannesburg office. He joined McKinsey in 2011 and currently coleads McKinsey’s Consumer Packaged Goods Practice in Africa and leads McKinsey’s revenue growth management (RGM) work in developing markets. He advises consumer companies on how to accelerate sustainable, profitable top-line growth through RGM and route-to-market transformations.

Marc has led multiple global and regional commercial transformations across Southern and Eastern Africa, Europe, Asia, and North America for leading multinational consumer packaged goods manufacturers.

Marc is at the forefront of McKinsey’s RGM capability, where he focuses on adapting and evolving RGM best practices for typically more fragmented, data-poor environments. He is passionate about developing new and lasting capabilities at his clients.

Marc was previously with KPMG South Africa, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors in accounting, and is a qualified chartered accountant.
