Additionally, she has led growth transformations with clients in high tech, consumer, insurance, and media, including redesigning their commercial operating models, business development functions, and strategic planning processes.
She also brings to her work extensive experience reshaping innovation pipelines and core processes, including the funding and governance needed to optimize overall growth performance. Additionally, she helps organizations assess and transform their mindsets and behaviors to create a stronger culture of innovation.

- led digital strategy creation for a payments company and created a new resourcing model for prioritizing digital investments

In addition to her client work, Laura has led research on digital transformations, innovation, and growth strategy, speaking publicly and publishing often on topics such as the use of gen AI. She led McKinsey’s thinking on the impact of COVID-19 on the pace of business and the use of technology in business and by consumers. She also serves on the editorial board of McKinsey on Finance, McKinsey’s publication that offers insights and perspectives for CFOs and finance leaders on value creation, strategy, performance, and emerging trends such as AI.
Laura holds a doctoral degree in theoretical physical chemistry and undergraduate degrees in physics and chemistry.
