Brings deep expertise in strategy, new business development, and frontline transformation to banking and insurance clients.

Kazuaki is a core member of our Financial Services Practice in Japan and across Asia. He serves banking and insurance organizations, providing extensive expertise in strategy development, new business development, talent management, and frontline transformation.

He has worked extensively with many financial institutions in Japan and throughout Asia to transform their frontline organization, building competitive advantages in the markets from multiple angles—including sales-force effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and talent-development systems and culture. He has also provided frontline-transformation expertise to companies outside the financial industry, in sectors such as retail and consumer goods.

In the banking space, Kazuaki has helped Japanese banks develop long-term strategies for remaining competitive. He has also implemented identified strategic initiatives by designing and monitoring transformation plans on the ground.

In the insurance sector, Kazuaki recently guided a new-business-development effort to help a global insurer to differentiate itself from its competitors in Asia. In serving a Japanese insurer, he designed a global talent-management strategy, one of the most important concepts for Japanese insurers wanting to capture growth opportunities.
