Jim helps health systems transform their clinical and operational performance through frontline process improvement, large-scale change management, and adoption of innovative technologies, including AI.
Examples of his recent client work include the following:
- leading a multiyear, enterprise-performance transformation for a >$25 billion annual revenue integrated delivery network, including improving patient access, provider productivity, throughput throughout the acute hospital setting, and program implementation to reduce cost of care
- helping a large state develop and implement a multiyear strategy to invest >$2 billion to help hospitals transition from fee-for-service to a capitated payment model
- advising a health tech start-up on their product strategy and refining their go-to-market approach with health systems and physician groups
- transforming a safety net health system by implementing AI solutions to streamline frontline operations, minimizing variations in clinical care, and creating innovative pathways to better route patients from the emergency department to high value ambulatory care
Jim previously led the clinical products team at Apple, shaping the development of many of Apple’s health products and creating new programs to foster relationships with clinical and research leaders around the world. Outside of work, Jim is a father of three and an avid gardener.
