Javier is a leader in our McKinsey Transformation Practice, and has broad experience developing and implementing strategic plans and impact-based transformations primarily in the travel and basic materials sectors.

Since joining McKinsey in 2007, he has worked extensively with PE-owned companies to create and implement transformative plans to create value.

After his first stage in McKinsey as business analyst, he was advisor to the CEO of a major consumer electronics company in Spain and Portugal.

Javier has a five-year degree in mechanical engineering with honors (first in his class) from ICAI and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he graduated with honors and distinctions in the ‘Dean’s list’ (top five percent of the class).

He has lived in Spain, Germany, Chile, and the United States.
