Advises MedTech and pharma clients seeking to transform their strategy, disrupt their organizational model, and establish a sustainable foundation for growth

Gayane is a partner in McKinsey’s London office and leads the life sciences work in our Leap division in Europe. She works with medical device and pharmaceutical companies on digital and commercial transformations, new business building, change management, and capability building.

Some of her recent client work includes the following:

  • developing the digital strategy, establishing a new digital organization, and prototyping the first digital products for a mid-sized In Vitro Diagnostics player
  • helping a top 10 MedTech player architect and deliver the largest acquisition in the company’s history, with a focus on commercial integration
  • designing innovative go-to-market models, including omnichannel and inside sales, to better serve customers and piloting and scaling the new model across three European countries

Prior to joining McKinsey, Gayane held various internships in consulting and banking and volunteered with the United Nations Department of Public Information. She is a committee member at Sightsavers, a charity with the mission to prevent avoidable blindness, and is a board member at Just Us Dance Theatre, an organization fostering hip hop creatives.

Gayane is fluent in English, German, Spanish, Armenian, and Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, dancing, and learning to play the piano.
