Helps retail and CPG leaders transform operating models to accelerate growth and capture AI-driven opportunities

Damian is a partner in McKinsey’s Frankfurt office and leads the firm’s operating model work within the Retail Practice across Europe. He supports retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) leaders in redesigning their operating models to drive sustainable growth, strengthen performance, and realize the full potential of AI and digital innovation.

Damian works end-to-end, from diagnostics and ambition-setting to implementation, helping organizations translate strategy into tangible performance impact.

Examples of his recent client work include:

  • leading large-scale operating model transformations across international retail and CPG organizations
  • optimizing exclusive brand portfolios to strengthen competitive differentiation
  • developing growth strategies for global consumer businesses facing structural market shifts

Across engagements, he focuses on aligning structure, processes, people, and ways of working to transform change initiatives into lasting enterprise value.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Damian held business development roles in rapidly growing start-ups in the sports and health industry, where he gained a strong entrepreneurial perspective on growth and scaling.
