About Chandra

Chandra joined McKinsey in 2002 as a junior research and progressed to be a specialist working with key clients across the globe on technology topics. From there, he moved to his current role, managing the Client Capabilities Hub in Chennai.

Chandra was instrumental in setting up the Chennai hub in 2008 and has helped it grow by developing and scaling client capabilities while inspiring a culture of innovation. He currently leads more than 100 colleagues, who offer a variety of capabilities, including research, analytics, and McKinsey centers of competence. He is responsible for the Chennai hub’s direction and strategy, and he works with colleagues to help create exciting career paths.

Chandra also leads one of the largest geographic research teams, which serves clients across Asia on a range of topics. In this role, he has helped transform the geographic research function in Asia and has helped establish a dedicated research team to serve clients in Australia.
