Ali is a partner in McKinsey’s Operations Practice and a leader in the firm’s advanced industries work, where he helps senior executives lead large-scale operational and enterprise transformations using AI. He works closely with C-suite leaders to shape practical transformation agendas and deliver change across operating models, technology, and capabilities, with deep expertise spanning end-to-end supply chain planning, and AI-enabled decision-making.

Ali’s recent work includes:

  • leading a multiyear AI-enabled transformation for a global original equipment manufacturer that delivered 30% run-rate profit impact and significantly improved end-to-end value chain performance
  • executing an enterprise-wide operations and planning turnaround for a distributor that generated more than $1 billion in economic value
  • designing an AI-powered operating model transformation for an aerospace and defense supply chain, increasing executive decision speed tenfold, unlocking multibillion-dollar cash impact, and accelerating revenue growth to 7% CAGR

Beyond client service, Ali helps lead the firm’s AI-enabled transformation initiative for the advanced industries sector in North America. His work is featured in ReWired 2.0, McKinsey's playbook for enterprise-wide digital and AI transformation. He has contributed to the development of McKinsey’s proprietary assets and partnership ecosystem in operations and supply chain. Before joining McKinsey, Ali spent a decade in client-service leadership roles at venture-backed supply chain technology companies, giving him hands-on practitioner depth.
