  • conducting a six-week cost-savings and throughput diagnostic for a Chilean mining company, identifying $100 million in savings
  • generating 25 percent cost savings in general and operational services for a mining company during the first wave of a purchasing transformation
  • using advanced analytics to optimize maintenance strategies in a North American open-pit-mine mobile fleet, resulting in a 12 percent maintenance cost reduction

Ferran has shared insights from his pioneering operational-transformation work in numerous McKinsey publications. A distinguished speaker at industry conferences, he covers cutting-edge topics in advanced analytics, productivity improvement, and operational transformation.
