Recently, I helped a logistics client improve its sales effectiveness. I worked with the client’s directors and sales representatives to test opportunities in sales and pricing and pilot possible solutions. Within three weeks, we identified ~$20 million in potential revenue.

Throughout this engagement, my team and I coached the sales reps to be more data and preparation focused. We created a playbook with the best sales practices for further training and process optimizations in the pilot markets and beyond. One of my favorite moments was when one of the more tenured sales representatives turned to me and said, “I’ve worked here for more than 10 years; this new approach will transform our business. It is extremely helpful for me and my newest colleagues.”

I joined McKinsey Implementation after seven years in industry in various roles. Since joining, I’ve used my experience, McKinsey tools and training to develop close working relationships with my clients and help them realize their potential.

Patrik has a double master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. After running two companies during his studies, he started his career in London at an online gambling company called Unibet. Three years later, his job took him to Sydney to work as general manager with more than 60 staff. Originally from Gothenburg, his favorite thing to do while travelling is finding the best burger place in town. He spends his free time with his wife and two daughters.
