Helps financial institutions navigate complexities and opportunities of trading businesses across risk, capital, liquidity, and technology topics

Dani helps financial institutions strategize for and navigate defining opportunities and challenges. She brings 25 years of consulting experience to her work at the intersection of risk, corporate and institutional banking, and technology. With a collaborative approach to leadership and significant technical expertise, Dani helps organizations elevate and attain significant aspirations.

Her experience spans banks, broker dealers, exchanges, and investment funds, with a focus on business strategy, risk, capital, and liquidity, from operating-model assessment and development to analytics, regulatory response, and compliance. She has worked extensively in the traded-product area, across counterparty credit risk and market risk, and is considered an industry expert on how banks manage risk to institutional counterparts.

Dani has also worked broadly on capital and liquidity stress testing, developing the industry approach to trading book wind-down analytics for resolution planning. A deeply knowledgeable technologist, she frequently works on transformation programs across commercial banking and capital markets. She also brings a dedicated risk perspective to cryptocurrency and digital assets.

In addition to her client work, Dani is a deeply committed advocate of inclusion, belonging, and diversity with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ inclusion, gender identity, and expression. As a transgender woman, she seeks to improve diversity and inclusion in the corporate world and the community more broadly. She sponsors McKinsey efforts to improve the experience of transgender and nonbinary individuals, is a regular speaker at events on the subject, and works to serve as a role model for gender nonconforming individuals.

She is a mother of two and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) who calls Brooklyn, New York her home. She is fluent in Italian, English, and French.
