Markus coleads our work for the industrial services sector in Europe and our work in organization and change in the Nordics. He is passionate about—and has a track-record of—helping industrial companies in Europe grow to global champions in their respective sectors, often through organic growth, programmatic M&A, and aftermarket and services business expansion.

Markus has deep expertise in services-driven growth and step-outs, services performance and productivity, end-to-end services transformations, and digital enablement; with an emphasis on the automotive and assembly, heavy trucks, mining equipment, power generation, and power equipment sectors.

A recent example of Markus’ work includes supporting a machinery client over multiple years on its strategy and growth journey to a global industry leader, involving IPO and growth strategy, programmatic M&A strategy and deal execution, and expansion into digital services and solutions, ultimately achieving high double-digit shareholder returns and outperforming close and adjacent peers.

Outside of work, Markus spends his time with his wife and three kids and pursues his interests around architecture, real estate, and interior design.
