Alex is a leader within McKinsey’s Private Equity & Principal Investors and Marketing & Sales Practices, leading the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion work within the Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice globally, and a co-leader in McKinsey’s Sustainability Investing and ESG Strategy service lines.
She advises private equity firms, and PE portfolio companies across many sectors, helping them to identify opportunities for strategic, top-line revenue growth. She also helps companies set their ESG strategy, and recruit, retain, and promote diverse talent at Board, C-suite, and frontline employee level, with the aim of improving equity and inclusion in the workplace. Alex also has extensive experience in the public sector on workforce development.
Alex leads McKinsey’s Women in Private Equity/Alternative Investing global forum, and McKinsey’s research on diversity, equity, and inclusion within private markets. Beyond McKinsey, Alex has professional work experience in the nonprofit and tech sectors, and has served on several nonprofit boards focused on mental health, and economic & workforce development. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership in Virginia.
