Vlad heads McKinsey’s wealth management practice in North America. Collaborating closely with executives, he shapes impactful strategies for leading wealth and asset management firms, driving financial performance, transformative growth, and organizational change. Additionally, he leads McKinsey’s research efforts at the intersection of wealth and asset management, and PriceMetrix, McKinsey’s proprietary SaaS and data solutions, which provide insights to leading global wealth and asset management firms.

Vlad guides prominent companies across the investment ecosystem, including wealth managers, public and private market asset managers, and fintechs.

Examples of Vlad’s recent work include the following:

  • developing a new operating and teaming model for an ultra-high net worth registered investment adviser to transition from an investment-centric to a more holistic value proposition
  • leading multiple diligences in the independent adviser space across the United States and Canada
  • developing a growth strategy for an alternative asset manager for their private wealth channel
  • driving a multiyear growth and productivity program for a global asset manager

Vlad has published extensively on the future of wealth management and frequently speaks on the topic of the industry’s direction. Outside of McKinsey, Vlad runs a nonprofit organization in Ukraine focused on rescuing abandoned and stray animals.

Vlad has a PhD in physics from MIT and a BS and MS from Kharkiv National University in Ukraine. He speaks Ukrainian, Russian, Hebrew, and English.
