Tejas is a partner in McKinsey’s New York office. He leads McKinsey’s software work, serving clients on product strategy and launches, innovation, and go-to-market.
Some of his recent client work includes:
- developing the product launch strategy for a disruptive gen-AI-enabled healthcare workflow solution, including market segmentation, value proposition definition, pricing and packaging, and go-to-market strategy. This resulted in $150 million annual recurring revenue within three years
- heading the healthcare vertical strategy for a global cloud service provider and technology leader, developing a path to grow revenue by $20 billion over five years
- helping lead design of a customer success organization for a ~$500 million software as a service (SaaS) vendor trying to help customers receive value from the product and drive up retention rates
- redesigning the quote-to-cash process for a software company transitioning to SaaS to drive down costs, improve price attainment, and drive better customer experience with fewer billing errors
- leading a pricing and platform as a service (PaaS) strategy effort for a $4 billion software company looking to launch a new SaaS offering and open their internal services to create a PaaS offering
Prior to McKinsey, Tejas founded a healthcare technology company, offering an AI-based forecast of operating room (OR) utilization for hospital OR managers, and led a platform engineering team at a data and analytics-based software vendor.
