Saptarshi is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Banking Practice and leads our Digital & Analytics Practice for banking in North America. He serves our clients in areas such as end-to-end digitization, data and advanced analytics, generative AI, cloud migration, enterprise agility, growth strategy, operations, organizational design, innovation, and culture. With extensive experience leading large-scale transformations, Saptarshi has guided major US and global companies through significant revenue and productivity improvements, new business development, and tech-enabled changes.

Some of his recent client work includes:

  • leading multiple large banks through multiyear cloud migration and platform modernization journeys
  • rolling out enterprise agile and product/platform models across a number of large institutions
  • building new businesses that have generated between upwards of $300-$500 million in annual revenue
  • driving large-scale productivity transformations with an impact of over $500 million in cost takeout across a number of large global banks
  • end-to-end analytics transformations to build scalable foundations and unlock outsized business value
