Phil leads our innovative technology and analytics platform, used both by data scientists and as the foundation of innovative market-leading solutions like Periscope by McKinsey. In his role, he is responsible for the global technology-capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact.

Phil primarily serves clients in the B2B industries - including basic materials, chemicals, advanced industry, and corporate banking clients - with innovative solutions for dynamic pricing, sales analytics and performance vision. Examples of Phil’s client work includes:

  • Implementing a new dynamic pricing solution for a chemicals manufacturer, as part of a global pricing transformation leading to €100 million annual impact
  • Developing a workbench for corporate-banking relationship managers, used to support better portfolio planning and data-driven decision making
  • Piloting advanced analytics and a front-line decision making tool for deal pricing at a basic commodity manufacturer, resulting in 2% uplift in prices

Prior to leading our technology and analytics platform, Phil was an engagement manager focused on serving clients in the Global Energy & Materials sector on a diverse set of topics from supply chain, procurement, to working capital management.
