Matthias works with life sciences organizations across the spectrum of pharmaceutical operations, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, frequently drawing on the artificial intelligence capabilities of QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, to turn analytics into performance at scale.
He leads the firm’s pharmaceutical operations benchmarking solution (POBOS), which has benchmarked manufacturing and supply chain performance across the industry for more than 20 years. His client work spans digital manufacturing lighthouses, launch excellence for new products, redesign of central functions, and end-to-end supply chain transformations. Several of the sites he supported have been recognized as industry 4.0 lighthouses by the World Economic Forum.
Matthias holds an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs in France and a master’s degree in engineering physics from the Technical University of Munich and the National University of Singapore.
