Kim is a leader in McKinsey Design, coleading our design work for advanced industries in Europe. She helps companies drive growth through rethinking and redesigning digital products, services, and customer experience standards. By bringing together digital-product design and the proven de-risking methods of design thinking, Kim helps build bridges between business and design that lead to greater customer value. She brings deep expertise in business building and digital transformation to her work helping clients innovate while growing their customer centricity.
Passionate about design, Kim started her career by designing and coding websites. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a design director serving digital agencies, design studios, and start-ups, creating and launching more than 50 digital services. Among the projects she has led is McKinsey Design’s microsite examining the post-pandemic future, “The new possible: Human stories shaping a post-COVID-19 world.”
