Giovanni leads McKinsey Energy Insights in Asia Pacific, where he oversees a team of data specialists and analysts that build data and analytics tools to support organizations in the decision making, risk management, and operation of energy assets. He works directly with major energy companies and public sector organizations.
Giovanni combines an in-depth understanding of the energy sector and the evolution of industry value pools in Asia with on-the-ground experience leading complex change programs. He is an expert on gas and electric power, in particular. Equally well versed in the broader energy industry transition to low-carbon sources, Giovanni regularly works at the intersection of energy and public policy.
A sought-after speaker, he frequently lectures at energy conferences in Asia. Prior to joining McKinsey, Giovanni worked as an analyst at a leading global investment banking, where he covered energy and industrials.
Outside of work, Giovanni likes playing tennis, reading, traveling and is currently learning Korean. He lives in Singapore with his wife and their new dog.
