Leads the Client Capabilities Hub in Washington, DC, fostering a community of diverse and innovative professionals delivering deep expertise to our clients

Erin leads our Client Capabilities Hub in Washington, DC, as well as some of our learning programs globally.

She joined McKinsey in 2005 in the Washington, DC, office and ran client learning programs before transferring to the Amsterdam office as a practice manager for lean management in banking. As the firm’s lean expertise deepened and expanded across sectors, she helped launch the global lean management group for the Operations Practice.

Erin spent ten years convening the firm’s global leadership group for lean management overseeing the practice’s reach and relevance strategy and managing the development and dissemination of knowledge and research. Erin was also on the editorial board of three compendiums on lean management, including, “The Lean Management Enterprise” in 2014, which earned the Shingo Institute’s Publication Award.

Based on her experience, she developed the concept of “Go & See,” a unique solution that allows companies to learn from each other when embarking on a large-scale transformation.

Thereafter, in 2014, Erin spun off the initial Go & See program into a separate asset for clients. Go & See visits, which can be done virtually or in-person, allowing clients to learn from non-competing companies on topics such as digital, agile at scale, data and analytics, operational excellence, reimagining customer journeys, and more. Her team delivers approximately 140 learning programs to 4,000 people per year, building capabilities worldwide.
