Debasish is a senior partner in McKinsey’s London office and leads QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. He advises CEOs, boards, and executive teams on how to harness AI and agentic AI to improve business performance and transform their organizations. His work spans AI strategy, business reimagination, operating-model design, capability building, and the responsible deployment of AI at scale across core customer, commercial, service, and operational journeys.
Debasish works with leading institutions globally across financial services, telecommunications, technology, media, healthcare, and private equity. He has helped organizations identify and capture value from AI, build new AI-enabled businesses, evaluate AI investments, and scale machine-learning and agentic-AI solutions. He has also served in accountable executive roles on major transformation programs, helping clients move from aspiration to measurable impact.
In addition to his client work, Debasish helps shape QuantumBlack’s platforms, product suite, ecosystem partnerships, and approaches to responsible enterprise-wide AI deployment. He also works with early-stage businesses and scale-ups, bringing perspectives from the broader AI ecosystem to help clients understand and act on emerging technology shifts.
Debasish combines senior advisory experience with a background in technology. He has an MBA from INSEAD, a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, and prior experience in technology delivery at Infosys Technologies.
