Bhargs brings deep technology expertise to McKinsey’s Digital Practice, as well as our technology initiatives. With over 15+ years of experience, she has advised various high-tech companies on strategic topics as they navigate massive technology shifts such as cloud and gen AI.

Examples of her recent client experience include the following:

  • helping develop product and go-to-market strategies for a global software company to capture opportunities in gen AI
  • assisting in the design of a product strategy for a software provider to achieve their aspiration to double cloud revenue in three years
  • constructing an innovative product strategy for a hyperscaler to win in the Edge market
  • initiating a sales acceleration program for a global software company to increase cloud revenue for a new product
  • revising the go-to-market model for a storage company to achieve 3x the revenue in cloud in three years

In addition to her client work, Bhargs is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting women. Since 2017, she has been at the helm of McKinsey's Bay Area women's initiative team, and in 2021, she initiated the “Women Who Cloud” initiative, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to fostering the advancement and empowerment of women. Before joining McKinsey, Bhargs worked in the high-tech industry and held roles across engineering and program management at Microsoft and Intel.
