Angela is a partner in McKinsey’s Colombia office, and brings deep experience in designing and helping implement programs to transform operational performance and deliver commercial excellence. Her focus is on the financial sector, across a diverse range of countries in Central and South America—including Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panamá, and Perú.

Examples of Angela’s client work include:

  • helping a retail and corporate bank deliver a substantial increase in return on equity by planning, designing and implementing an operational and commercial excellence transformation
  • achieving a more than 20 percent increase in commercial productivity in one of Colombia’s largest retail banks after implementing a broad commercial excellence transformation—including the creation of advanced analytics models to better understand customers and their needs
  • creating an advanced analytics model to set intelligent commercial targets for a retail bank in Colombia, based on a granular analysis of the clients of each executive and the potential of each branch
  • carrying out a company-wide procurement excellence transformation in a leading retail and corporate bank in the Dominican Republic—identifying savings potential of over 20 percent and achieving 10 percent savings in less than 6 months
