Leads the Lisbon Client Capabilities Hub, bringing top talent together to foster innovation and drive strategic priorities

Andre joined McKinsey in 2012 in our Costa Rica office. He was previously a knowledge expert working with public and social sector clients in over 20 countries across Latin America and other developing regions. He specialized in economic-development topics, particularly in export promotion, investment promotion, and job creation strategies. In addition, he collaborated with the McKinsey Global Institute and the McKinsey Center for Government in publishing distinctive knowledge about economic growth and development in Latin America.

Andre has led the hub in Lisbon since 2021. It’s a fast-growing center that hosts some of McKinsey’s most innovative capabilities across industries, functions, and growth platforms. He serves as a thought partner for firm leaders to shape the way we develop and serve clients. He also fosters cross-office collaboration and creates development opportunities for colleagues.

Andre is passionate about people development, spending much of his time coaching and mentoring colleagues across the Client Capabilities Network and beyond. He has designed and delivered several training programs to strengthen his colleagues’ consulting toolkit and is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and collaborative environment.
