Alex leads the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion work within the Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice globally, and she is a leader within McKinsey’s Private Equity & Principal Investors and Marketing & Sales Practices.

She advises private equity firms, and PE portfolio companies across the aerospace & defense and industrial sectors, helping them to identify opportunities for strategic growth. She also helps companies recruit, retain, and promote diverse talent at Board, C-suite, and frontline employee level, with the aim of improving equity and inclusion in the workplace. Alex also has extensive experience in the public sector on workforce development.

Alex leads McKinsey’s research on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the private equity industry. Beyond McKinsey, Alex has professional work experience in the nonprofit and tech sectors, and has served on several nonprofit boards focused on mental health, and economic & workforce development. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Alexandria Economic Development Partnership in Virginia.
