National University of Singapore
Our collaboration
In an effort to close the women's health gap, MHI and the World Economic Forum partnered with the National University of Singapore’s Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) to transition the platform into its next chapter of growth. The Women’s Health Impact Tracking (WHIT) platform is a tool that was developed by MHI in collaboration with the World Economic Forum as outlined in its flagship publication on the topic. WHIT tracks progress on closing the women’s health gap through key indicators spanning 9 conditions and 15 countries. Through the transfer, NUS builds on the platform’s existing foundation and expands its scope to cover more conditions and 200+ countries. The aim is for this resource to be leveraged by policymakers, clinicians, researchers, and the public, to better quantify and highlight progress in improving health outcomes for women, while advancing economic prosperity, workforce participation, and healthier communities.
