About Ganaka

Ganaka is the managing partner of our Sri Lanka office, with more than 10 years of experience in serving global financial institutions and conglomerates in Asia, Europe, and the United States on a broad range of strategic issues. He is a core leader of our work in Sri Lanka and helps local, regional, and multinational companies pursue new opportunities through digital and analytics.

Before relocating to Sri Lanka, Ganaka was based in our London office, where he helped clients in the financial-services and banking sectors undergo large-scale digital transformations, specializing in digital enablement. He also advises corporate and commercial-banking clients on a broad range of strategic issues as well as infrastructure and innovation projects from a public-sector perspective.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • designing and implementing one of the largest digital delivery labs in Europe
  • developing the market-entry strategy for a digital receivable-finance company
  • assisting a global universal bank to plan and implement the largest cost-transformation program in the organization’s history

Ganaka is passionate about technology and its role in helping developing countries accelerate growth. He is a regular commentator on these trends at key events such as the Future of Business forum hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
