Murat is a Partner in McKinsey’s Tokyo Office and is among the leaders of McKinsey Digital, focusing on technology-enabled transformations of industrial clients.

Some of the recent work of Murat includes:

  • Strategy building and value assurance support for ERP-enabled business transformations of multiple clients in life science, healthcare, energy and manufacturing.
  • IT / DX operating model transformation of 20+ companies including diagnostic, blueprint design and implementation.
  • Technology-enabled procurement and supply management leading to significant financial, operational and strategic impact in multiple clients.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Murat was a researcher at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory in Switzerland. He has a PhD in Electronics Engineering from the University of Tokyo in Japan.

Murat is fluent in English and Japanese and is a native speaker of Turkish.
