In an exclusive 1.5-day workshop, set to take place in the Nyenrode Lean Institute in Amsterdam, Netherlands, McKinsey will offer you the opportunity to gain insights into the daily work of our service operations consultants and examine a capability building and lean management philosophy.

We invite professionals based in Europe who are working in one of the following fields:

During the initial part of the event, on Thursday evening, you will participate in an exciting cooking class and discover your hidden talent as a “beautiful food” creator. Lots of fun guaranteed!

At Friday’s event, you will gain fascinating insights into the world of consulting. The Nyenrode Lean Institute will provide us the opportunity to explore a model factory and a model office. This allows participants to apply lean techniques to assembly and support functions in realistic settings. These techniques can also be applied within a service operations workshop. Furthermore, our consultants whose work is focused on service operations will share with you why they are passionate about operational excellence and performance transformation. You will hear what it means to set a decisive course and how to continually improve areas such as customer experience, enterprise efficiency, and effectiveness through operational excellence.

As a mechanical engineer, I only knew that a regular nine-to-five job was not my thing, so I went and did what seemed interesting to me.
