Job ID: 99797

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges—the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you’ve come to the right place.

Your Impact

You will be based in our Costa Rica office, working as part of the Periscope team—a dynamic, fast-growing, and highly visible group within our Marketing & Sales Solutions practice and the broader firm. Periscope has a presence in 27 locations across 16 countries with a team of 800+ IT and business professionals and a network of 300+ experts.
As a Data Scientist/Analytics professional at our Periscope Solution, you will take full ownership of complex analytical workstreams with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with client objectives and delivering high-quality outcomes. You will proactively seek stakeholder guidance and feedback throughout the project lifecycle to refine approaches and ensure solutions meet client needs.
Your role will involve designing, building, and validating statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address real-world business challenges. You will leverage advanced programming skills in Python, utilizing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Seaborn, to develop and implement analytical solutions. By applying advanced analytics, data science, and statistical methods, you will extract actionable insights and drive decision-making.
Working efficiently with large datasets, you will perform data cleaning, transformation (feature engineering), and analysis while ensuring data quality and integrity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, partnering with CSTs on complex or expertise-intensive workstreams. Your advanced analytical skills and domain knowledge will help shape problem-solving approaches, tailoring methodologies and solutions to the specific client context to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Building meaningful relationships with consultants and clients will be a key aspect of your role. You will foster collaboration through multiple interactions of increasing depth and complexity, while also training clients and CSTs on the effective use of analytical tools, statistical models, and data-driven decision-making processes to embed solutions within the client’s operations.
You will play an active role in coaching new joiners and junior team members, providing guidance on advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and best practices. Additionally, you will continuously innovate and improve analytical methodologies, statistical modeling techniques, and solution delivery processes. By incorporating the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies, you will enhance the performance and scalability of solutions.
Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to explain complex analytical concepts, statistical models, and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will ensure that stakeholders at all levels understand the value and implications of the analytical solutions being delivered.

Your Growth

Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
